Terre Thomas HeadshotAfter earning her bachelor’s degree from McDaniel College, Ms. Thomas moved to South Korea to teach English to children, ages 3 to 17. Upon her return, she earned her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and accepted a position as an admissions counselor at Mount St. Mary’s University. She later accepted a job as assistant director of graduate admissions at Trinity Washington University. Terré decided she would return to undergraduate admissions realizing she wanted to make sure students in the Washington Metropolitan area had the proper academic and personal support.  In 2012, she joined the Montgomery College admissions team and worked to improve the student experience and digital presence of the admissions office. In 2015, Ms. Thomas joined the ACES Program serving as a student success coordinator for the past 8 years, fully investing her time and talents into supporting the “at-promise” students in Montgomery County.  She has been a champion of our families, teaching students to advocate for themselves, pursue their dreams, and strive for excellence. Ms. Thomas has been instrumental in the growth and direction of the program and now joins the ACES leadership team as associate director of high school operations.
