Kelly Bolender pictureKelly Fey Bolender is deeply committed to positive youth development and education equity.  She brings over 15 years of previous service as a youth development leader, career coach, and education policy expert to her current role with ACES, where she will oversee career readiness programming for students along the ACES pathway, and work with coordinators to ensure that students successfully transition to programs at USG and into the workforce.

Kelly, most recently, spent several years as a national education policy expert with Americans for the Arts and the Arts Education Partnership.  Prior to her policy work, Kelly dedicated her career to youth work.  She worked as the Associate Director of Education of the Boch Center in Boston, MA, where she led its award-winning arts-based youth leadership and employment programs.  She also provided robust career readiness training as an ACES Career Readiness Coordinator with the Universities of Shady Grove, where she helped develop innovative career programming for ACES students across Montgomery County.

She earned a master of arts in education at Emerson College, a bachelor of arts in media and communication studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and certification in advancing youth development, supervising youth workers, and diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
