Patricia Polimadei Bio Headshot Patricia Polimadei has close to twenty years of experience working with diverse populations in Montgomery County.  Patricia has extensive experience empowering at-risk youth through counseling, coaching, mentoring, and advising.  Prior to being a Montgomery College ACES coach, she supervised a therapeutic team at the Residential Institute for Children and Adolescents, counseling youth with severe emotional issues for the Maryland Department of Health.  Patricia has also worked as an education and outreach coordinator for Montgomery County Public Libraries and most recently held a position as a community engagement specialist for Montgomery College.

As a first-generation college student and Montgomery College alum, she understands the barriers that some students must overcome and is passionate about helping create the pathway for students to achieve their higher education goals successfully.

Patricia received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in distance learning, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.  She is currently working on earning her Ph.D. in community engagement from Point Park University.  Patricia is fluent in both English and Spanish.
