Alexis Robinson is an education professional with years of experience serving underrepresented students. She is a proud first-generation college graduate coming from a low-income household, who is passionate about assisting other students in their journey to college degree attainment. As a high school and college student, Alexis was involved in a similar program to ACES to which she attributes most of her success. Upon graduation, Alexis began working for Partnership for the Future as a College Access Coordinator, preparing students for success in college and in the workplace. In this role, she led personal and professional development workshops on topics including resume/cover letter writing, job/internship search, and finding your college fit. Prior to joining USG, she worked as an admissions counselor at Virginia Commonwealth University assisting prospective transfer students with the application process. Alexis earned her Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management, and a Master of Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.
