Traci Johnson, a native New Yorker, received her master’s degree in guidance and counseling from New York University. After graduating from NYU she began her professional career by providing programming and educational opportunities for students with disabilities in the New York Public School system. She served as a college advisor for the DC College Access Program (DC-CAP) for the past 9 years, where she assisted underrepresented and first-generation college students with matriculation into post-secondary school, ensuring students had access to the educational opportunities and guidance needed to be successful in the college setting. As a health enthusiast, personal trainer, and Zumba instructor, Traci hopes to teach students the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle, which will also help them reach their educational aspirations.
